With over 28 years of experience in education, Geeta Jayanth is a passionate educator and visionary leader known for her commitment to holistic learning and student growth. She brings extensive expertise in educational leadership, school administration, pedagogy, and college counselling across international and national curricula including the IB, Cambridge, and ICSE frameworks.

Geeta holds three Master’s degrees, including an MBA in Education Leadership from a Finnish university. Over the years, she has contributed significantly to the global education community through leadership, mentoring, and academic collaboration. She has served on the Global Advisory Boards of IE Business School and University of St Andrews, reflecting her strong engagement with international education and leadership practices.

An authorized school evaluation leader for both the International Baccalaureate and the Council of International Schools, Geeta has led and participated in school evaluation and authorization visits across the world. She is also a sought-after speaker who has presented at prestigious forums including the IB Asia Pacific Conference, Cambridge forums, and British Council conferences.

Her dedication to education and student success was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award by IC3  for her contribution to education and college counselling.

Before joining CBS, Geeta successfully led two renowned international schools in Bangalore, where she championed academic excellence, student wellbeing, and future-ready learning environments. Deeply committed to sustainability and global citizenship, she has worked closely with the United Nations office in India to integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals into school education.

Guided by her belief that “To teach is to touch lives forever,” Geeta continues to inspire students, educators, and communities through her empathetic leadership and progressive educational vision.

Beyond education, she enjoys gardening, hiking in the mountains, and travelling to explore diverse cultures and traditions around the world.
