Rashmi is an experienced educator and guidance counselor with over 15 years of experience in teaching, academic leadership, and student guidance within international schools in Bangalore. She began her professional journey as an educator before transitioning into guidance counseling, bringing together strong classroom expertise with a deep understanding of student development and future readiness. Over the years, she has served in key leadership roles including Head of Department Science,Secondary School Coordinator, and Guidance Counselor. She has also contributed to international academic systems as a Cambridge Exam Officer, Biology Assessor, and IBEN - ESS Examiner.


Academically, Rashmi holds a Master of Science and a Master of Philosophy in Microbiology from the University of Mysore, along with a Bachelor of Education from Bangalore University. Her commitment to continuous professional growth is reflected in her specialized training and certifications, including the IB Subject-Specific Workshop Biology CAT 3, UCLA Extension’s Global Career Counselor Training and College Planning Program, and the IC3 Institute’s Career and College Counseling Certification Program.


Her professional interests include sustainability and adolescent decision-making, areas she believes are deeply connected to the future of education and global citizenship. Rashmi is particularly passionate about helping students understand how their academic choices, careers, and everyday actions can contribute to a more sustainable world. As universities across the globe increasingly emphasize sustainability, ethical leadership, and interdisciplinary thinking, she advocates for learning experiences that prepare students to engage meaningfully with real-world challenges. She strongly believes that education must move beyond content delivery to developing informed, responsible, and future-ready individuals.
